Aren Bezhanyan opened to 5,500 from early position and received a call from Ankit Ahuja on the button.

Both players checked the 393 flop leading to the K turn. Bezhanyan bet 6,500 and Ahuja called.

Bezhanyan bet again on the Q river, this time for 18,500. After about two minutes of consideration Ahuja made the call.

Bezhanyan tabled AK for top pair, top kicker which was good enough to take the pot.

Meanwhile at another table, Benjamin Spragg was recently eliminated.

Xuming Qi was all in from the cutoff for 22,000 and called by Carl Shaw in the big blind who held the covering stack.

Qi was in rough shape with a dominated jack and found no help on the 45K75 runout, resulting in his elimination while Shaw continued to add chips to his stack.

The tournament staff has announced that play will conclude today when there are 55 players left, at which point all remaining players will be in the money. Players will need to finish the day having bagged at least one chip to be in the money.

There are currently 126 players remaining out of the 366-entrant field.

Skybic Reduces the Field by One

Adi Rajkovic moved all in from middle position for 24,000 and Milos Skrbic reshoved from the hijack with a covering stack, folding out all other players.

Rajkovic pulled ahead with top pair on the J28 flop but the 3 turn gave Skybic many more outs in the form of a flush draw. The flush came through on the K river sending Rajkovic to the rail while Skrbic collected a healthy pot.

The flop came 444 and Shaw check-called a 3,500 continuation bet from Aniulis.

On the 8 turn Shaw checked and Aniulis fired a second barrel for 15,000 which was enough to force a fold from Shaw.
