Value Betting an Inferior Hand
Niveau 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Simone Andrian opened under the gun to 6,000 before getting called on the button by Tamas Adamszki and in the big blind by Jeremie Zouari.
The 6♣9♣5♥ flop was checked through and the 10♦ landed on the turn. Zouari opted to lead for 12,500 and only got called by Andrian.
The 2♠ landed on the turn and the Zouari led again for 22,000. Andrian snap called.
Andrian tabled K♠10♠ and Zouari shrugged and showed he was value betting with a worse hand as he tabled J♠10♣ for top pair with a worse kicker.
Andrian scooped the pot but Zouari still sits higher on the leaderboard.
