Kenjic Puts the Pressure on Abakirov
Niveau 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kubanychbek Abakirov opened in early position to 12,000 and got called in one spot on the button by Jovan Kenjic.
The 10♥5♠6♥ flop landed and Abakirov continued for 16,000. Kenjic called.
The Q♦ rolled off on the turn and action checked through to a 2♠ river.
Abakirov burned a time bank before he landed on a bet of 11,000. Kenjic sat in the tank for only a moment before announcing he was all in for 142,000 and his tournament life.
Abakirov went through multiple time banks on his way to finding a fold. Kenjic scooped and got some breathing room as the bubble approached.
