Pavlov's Aces Get Value
Niveau 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ilia Pavlov raised to 22,000 from middle position and it folded around to Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind, who made the call. The flop of 4♣8♥4♥ saw Pavlov fire a continuation-bet of 15,000, which O'Dwyer check-called.
O'Dwyer then continued to check on the 2♣ turn, after which he called a 55,000 bet from Pavlov. Pavlov kept the aggression up on the 9♠ river, betting 105,000 after a third check from O'Dwyer. O'Dwyer made the final call but sighingly mucked his cards once he saw the A♠A♣ Pavlov tabled.
