Straight on the River For Pavlov
Niveau 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
After he four-bet to take a pot, Hwany Lee in the cutoff opened to 40,000, and was called by Ilia Pavlov in the big blind.
Both players checked on the flop 6♥7♥J♠. But on the turn 10♣, Pavlov took the lead and bet 60,000. Lee quickly called to find the 9♦ on the river.
Pavlov fired a second barrel of 175,000, and Lee called again, showing 9♥9♠ for a set hit on the river. But the nine completed Pavlov's straight with A♣8♣, so he won this one.
