Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

Parker Talbot committed his final 20,000 chips preflop and only Viacheslav Goryachev made the call.

Parker Talbot: 99
Viacheslav Goryachev: 77

It was looking good for Talbot, and even better when the J810 flop was dealt. The Q turn saw Talbot hit a straight flush, and the A river was but a formality.

Talbot doubled up to around 12 big blinds.

Nitsche Avoids a Chop

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Boris Kolev raised to 8,000 from early position and received a call from Martin Diaz in the hijack. The action was then on Dominik Nitsche on the button, who squeezed in a jam for 126,000. Kolev made the call with the covering stack and Diaz grimaced before waving a final goodbye to his cards.

Dominik Nitsche: AQ
Boris Kolev: AQ

It was looking like the two would chop, but the 896 brought a flush draw for Nitsche. The 8 turn remained safe for Kolev, but the 7 river saw Nitsche hit his flush, resulting in a rare double-up against the same hand.

Dukic Makes Yokosawa Fold

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Masato Yokosawa raised to 11,000 from middle position, then Nenad Dukic three-bet to 31,000 in the hijack. All the other players folded, and Yokosawa quickly called.

On the flop 1043, Dukic bet 20,000 and Yokosawa check-called. On the turn 2, nobody took the risk to bet.

The Q completed the board and Yokosawa checked again. After a few seconds, Dukic bet 60,000 and made Yokosawa fold.

Goryachev Four-Bets

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Milos Petakovic opened under the gun to 8,000 before Kubanychbek Abakirov three-bet from middle position to 25,000. The action then moved to Viacheslav Goryachev in the small blind who put in a four-bet to 62,000. Petakovic got out of the way but Abakirov put in a call.

The K8Q flop landed and Goryachev continued the story for 35,000. Abakirov called again.

The 6 turn rolled off and Goryachev went into the tank, counted his chips, and then moved all in for his last 102,000. Abakirov thought it over, but eventually returned his cards to the dealer. Goryachev dragged the pot and chipped up in a big way.

Sammartino Makes a Reluctant Call

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino and Viacheslav Goryachev were heads up to the turn on 109J3. Sammartino bet 21,000 chips into the pot of 40,000 from the big blind before Goryachev raised it to 51,000. Sammartino made the call and the Q river rolled off.

Sammartino now checked and Goryachev asked him how much he had behind. After receiving the answer of 130,000, Goryachev bet out 50,000. Sammartino spent some time in the tank, shook his head, but eventually called with a big sigh.

"You're good," claimed Goryachev, who tabled A4 for a missed flush draw. Meanwhile, Sammartino had the bottom end of the straight with Q8.

"Did you like the river?" jokingly asked Parker Talbot, who was down to just nine big blinds after "torching off half his stack to a man with the nuts," leading to some chuckling at the table.

Ladev's Stack Keeps Growing

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Second biggest stack during the last break, Markkos Ladev keeps winning pots, even small ones.

For example, he called from the big blind after Hwany Lee bet 8,000 on the button. Then on the flop J57, both players decided to check.

The K came on the turn, and Ladev took the lead, betting 27,000. Lee thought about his decision for 30 seconds, but eventually folded.

Stok Stocks Some More Chips

Niveau 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ahmed Karrim and Sven Stok got all of their chips in preflop, with Karrim being the one at risk.

Ahmed Karrim: 77
Sven Stok: 1010

The flop had Karrim drawing very slim as Stok flopped a set on 1046 and he was left drawing dead on the 6 turn. Stok's full house would not further improve on the J river, but it sent Karrim home nonetheless.
