No Stopping Karsenty

Calum Grant

Niveau 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

David Karsenty opened to 60,000 from middle position, and Parham Ghadamgahi defended his big blind.

Ghadamgahi checked, and Karsenty continued for 50,000 on the 7♣5♠4♦ flop. Ghadamgahi then jammed for 210,000 and was called.

Parham Ghadamgahi: 9♠7♠
David Karsenty: J♦J♥

Ghadamgahi had top pair but was still behind Karsenty's jacks. The 3♥ turn was of no help and the J♣ river continued Karsenty's meteoric rise.
