Mateos Calls With Ace-High
Niveau 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau limped from the small blind, then called after Adrian Mateos raised to 10,000 in the big blind.
On 3♦8♣Q♦, Mateos bet 11,000 and was called once again. But on the turn 5♦, Vaskaboinikau took the lead and bet 8,500. Mateos didn't back down and called.
The 6♥ came on the river, and Vaskaboinikau asked for 17,000 chips. Mateos went into the tank for a few seconds, and called.
Vaskaboinikau didn't really want to show his K♦4♣, but he had to do it so Mateos could reveal A♠K♠ to take the pot.
