Pardo Takes A Big Pot From Ponakovs
Niveau 14
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Leon Sturm opened to 24,000 from the hijack, and was called by Juan Pardo in the cutoff and Aleksejs Ponakovs in the big blind.
On the flop 3♥3♣7♠ Ponakovs and Pardo checked to Pardo, who bet 25,000. Ponakovs called, but Sturm folded.
Nobody bet on the turn 9♠, so the dealer revealed the river J♠. This time, Ponakov took the lead and bet 38,000. After more than 30 secondes, Pardo called with A♦Q♣, catching Ponakovs' bluff with 6♥5♥.
