Greenwood First to Fall
Niveau 4
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Sam Greenwood raised to 3,000 in the cutoff and Juan Pardo defended his big blind.
The flop came K♦9♣J♦ and Greenwood bet 2,000. Pardo called and both players checked the 5♥ turn.
Pardo led out for 4,000 on the 3♠ river and Greenwood called, only to muck when Pardo showed J♠8♦ for a pair of jacks.
Left with 13,000, Greenwood shoved on the button and Pardo called.
Sam Greenwood: A♣5♥
Juan Pardo: K♣Q♦
Greenwood stayed in front on the 10♦3♥7♠ flop, but Pardo spiked the K♠ on the turn to make top pair. The river came the 3♦ and Greenwood became the first player sent to the rail.
