Vrakas Sends Meitanis to the Rail
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
The pot stood at approximately 30,000 with two players looking at a board that read 2♠10♥9♦3♥.
Georgios Vrakas, in the small blind, moved all in. George Meitanis, in the hijack, remained in the tank as he was contemplating calling off the bet for his last 17,000 and tournament life. Eventually, Meitanis made the call.
George Meitanis: A♠10♠
Georgios Vrakas: K♣K♥
Meitanis' top pair was no match for the kings of Vrakas. The 3♠ river changed nothing and he was sent to the rail.
