While the rest of the field went on break, Maroun Jazzar and Can Miral were heads up on a flop of 1025. Jazzar bet out 5,000 from the small blind and Miral called from the big blind.

The A then saw Jazzar go all in, covering Miral's 32,000 remaining chips. However, Miral quickly folded and the two could join the rest of the field on their first break of the day.

Vasileios Panagiotidis
Vasileios Panagiotidis

Vasileios Panagiotidis bought in on Day 2 of the Main Event and has had a fruitful start to the day.

Beginning the hand with 93,000, he opened to 3,500 from under the gun. Mohammad Awamleh three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind before Erdal Gulseven reraised to 22,000 from the big blind. Panagiotidis then shoved, Awamleh committed his 47,000 stack and Gulseven went into the tank before calling as the covering stack.

Mohammad Awamleh: QQ
Vasileios Panagiotidis: KK
Erdal Gulseven: AK

Three premium hands were tabled, and Panagiotidis had the best of it. There was no drama on the J103 flop and the 9 turn and 6 river ensured he dragged in the massive pot.

Iakobishvili Doubles Up, Others Less Lucky

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Dumitru Pora opened from the cutoff for an unknown amount before Gha Iakobishvili jammed in his 28,000 stack from the big blind. Pora made a swift call and the cards went on their backs.

Gha Iakobishvili: KQ
Dumitru Pora: AJ

Both players would flop a pair and a gutshot on JQ10, but Iakobishvili was in the lead. The 4 turn did nothing for either player, but the A river made Iakobishvili his straight, doubling him up.

Baumgartner Tries to Represent What Tishkevich Has

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Heads-up on a board of 4356, Pascal Baumgartner led out for 12,000 from the big blind and Stanislav Tishkevich called in the hijack.

The river came the Q and Baumgartner bet another 17,500.

"Do you have a flush," Tishkevich asked.

"I have two cards," Baumgartner replied.

"I hope we split," Tishkevich added as he called.

"You win. I only have a three," Baumgartner said, showing K3. Tishkevich turned over 76 for a flopped straight to win the pot.

"I didn't think you had the straight," Baumgartner told Tishkevich after the hand.

"I had the straight on the flop. It just kept getting worse and worse," Tishkevich replied.

"I was trying to represent what you had," Baumgartner concluded.

Tishkevich is sitting beside Andrei Vavilonskii as the two enjoy a bit of a reunion after they both went deep in the Eureka Main Event earlier this week.

Simon Wiciak

Adi Rajkovic opened to 3,500 from early position and EPT Barca Main Event champ Simon Wiciak called from the big blind.

Wiciak check-called for 1,500 on the JQJ flop but snap-folded to a bet of 16,500 on the 9 turn.

Wiciak then folded his next two hands from the small blind and the button.

Wojciech Stefanski moved all in for 23,000 from early position and Wiciak called from the cutoff. Grzegorz Kozieja rejammed for 80,000 from the big blind and after some thought, Wiciak folded.

Stefanski had AK while Kozieja had 1010. The 92275 runout confirmed Stefanski's elimination. After the hand, Wiciak said he had AxQx.

Wiciak then folded his next three hands. While the Frenchman took a small hit during the orbit, he still has plenty of chips in front of him and has just under 100 big blinds.
