Zakharov Loses Flip for Tournament Life; Stone Bubble Time

Niveau 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nicolas Chouity
Nicolas Chouity

Nicolas Chouity raised from early position before Dmitry Zakharov three-bet jammed all in for 48,000 from the small blind. Chouity quickly called and once all other tables had finished their hands and the media had arrived, the cards were tabled.

Dmitry Zakharov: QQ
Nicolas Chouity: AK

The flop fell 4KA and Chouity shot in the lead with his two pair. However, he wanted a sweat and called for the jack of clubs to arrive on the turn. The J was close and it did bring Zakharov some extra outs. They did not arrive, however, when the 8 river finished the board, leading to Zakharov's elimination in 201st place.

A table was broken shortly after and hand-for-hand continued on the stone bubble of the EPT Cyprus Main Event.

Kunze called as cameras and a large crowd began gathering around the table. The turn came the 5 and Kunze checked again. Baran-Osinski then slid forward a tower of blue 5,000 chips, enough to put Kunze all in for his last 50,000.

There would be little suspense on this hand, however, as Kunze quickly folded.
