Fabio Peluso opened to 40,000 from the hijack and Julien Montois called from the big blind.
Montois check-called for 20,000 on the K♣10♥8♥ flop which brought in the A♦ turn.
Montois, with 185,000, checked once more and Peluso bet 40,000. Montois had just few seconds of his initial 30-second shot clock remaining and opted to fold.
Peluso let out an audible "phew," and tabled his 5♠5♦.
Halil Tasyurek opened to 30,000 from under the gun and Milos Skrbic called in the cutoff as Marian Virlanuta called in the big blind.
Virlanuta checked on the flop of 5♥10♦2♣ and Tasyurek continued for 45,000. Skrbic folded and Virlanuta called. Virlanuta checked again on the 7♥ turn and Tasyurek checked back.
Virlanuta led out for 80,000 on the 6♣ river and Tasyurek quickly called. Virlanuta showed K♥Q♥ for just king-high and Tasyurek showed A♣10♠ to win the pot with a pair of tens.
With around 250,000 already in the pot, Fabio Peluso moved all in for another 250,000 on a board of 6♥Q♦9♦8♠.
Shuang Luo tanked for a minute before she called to put Peluso at risk. Peluso showed Q♠10♦ for top pair, while Luo had J♠9♥ for a pair of nines and straight draw.
The 5♦ river was safe for Peluso and he slammed the table in celebration after doubling up. "Comeback," he said.
Andrea Dato raised to 30,000 in the hijack before Jose Gonzalez Sanchez three-bet to 75,000 from the cutoff. Dato called and they went heads-up to the 9♥3♥5♥ flop.
Gonzalez Sanchez then continued for 50,000. "One hundred and thirty thousand," Dato announced, putting in a raise. Gonzalez Sanchez called and the J♣ fell on the turn.
Both players checked to the 4♣ river, where Dato again verbally announced a bet of 45,000. Gonzalez Sanchez quickly called, then mucked when Dato showed K♣J♥ for a turned pair of jacks.
"Running like God, bro," Gonzalez Sanchez told him.
"Yeah, it's true," Dato replied.
Gary Miller was left with around 400,000 after losing the pot to Seyedali Hosseinirami and the Day 2 chip leader was eliminated a few hands later.
Mario Trattou opened to 30,000 from under the gun and called when Michele Guerrini jammed for 175,000 from the cutoff.

Guerrini enjoyed a double up thanks to the Q♠6♦2♣6♥K♠ runout.
The following hand, Marc Foggin opened to 35,000 from early position. Alessandro Minasi and Trattou called from the blinds.
Foggin continued for 80,000 on the 9♦5♠2♣ flop, and only Trattou called.
Trattou checked on the 6♥ turn, and Foggin jammed as the big stack. Trattou had 255,000 behind, and after some thinking time, he committed his stack.

Trattou needed a five, four or three to stay alive, but the 9♥ river saw his chips head over to his compatriot.
Casimir Seire opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and Kenny Hallaert defended in the big blind.
Hallaert checked on the flop of 6♦6♥5♦ and Seire checked back. Hallaert then bet 45,000 on the 10♦ turn and Seire called.
Hallaert sized up to 125,000 on the Q♦ river and Seire laid it down.
Andreas Tomazou moved all in from the cutoff for 275,000. Shuang Luo used two time extensions before making the call in the big blind with a covering stack to put Tomazou at risk.

Luo pulled ahead with top pair on the 10♦8♣3♠ flop and remained ahead on when the rest of the board ran out K♠5♦. Tomazou was sent to the rail while Luo collected a sizable pot.
Seyedali Hosseinirami moved all in for 250,000 from the cutoff and Gary Miller called in the small blind to put him at risk.

Hosseinirami began filming the action with his phone as the flop came 10♦3♣K♦, keeping his deuces in the lead. The turn, though, was the A♣ and Miller made top pair to leave Hosseinirami one card from elimination.
He was already getting up from his seat before the 2♥ fell on the river to give him a set. Hosseinirami dropped the phone and began celebrating his miracle double up. "Not done the video," tablemate Jose Gonzalez Sanchez said as Hosseinirami picked back up the phone and pointed it at the board while the dealer pushed the pot his way.

On the 6♦ turn Dato checked and Sanchez bet 325,000. Dato check-raised for the second street in a row, this time moving all in for 755,000. Sanchez looked visibly frustrated but quickly made the call to put Dato at risk.

Dato's trip nines were well ahead of Sanchez, who was drawing to two outs with pocket aces. He could not find an ace on the 5♥ river and Dato collected a massive double up worth nearly two million while also making a serious dent in Sanchez' stack.
Alexandre Pruneau moved all in for his last 100,000 from the button and Raoul Refos called in the small blind.

The 3♦6♦J♠ flop gave Refos a set and left Pruneau drawing thin heading to the K♥ turn, where he was then drawing dead. The inconsequential 3♥ fell on the river and Refos improved to a full house to send Pruneau to the rail.
