Au Revoir, Auzoux
Niveau 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Gregoire Auzoux raised to 40,000 from middle position before facing a three-bet to 130,000 from button Vicente Delgado. Azoux made the call and the pair checked through the subsequent flop of Q♣10♣8♥. The 2♦ turn then fell and Auzoux led out for a sum of 275,000. Delgado made the call and the K♥ river completed the board.
Auzoux promptly shoved all in for 790,000 and Delgado called as quick as lightning. Auzoux shook his head while tabling his 9♦9♣ with a grimace. The bluff did not work as Delgado held A♦J♠ and rivered Broadway, the nuts.
Auzoux was the first player to leave the final table and two more eliminations are to be had before the money will be reached.
