Sturm Doubles Through Grafton
Niveau 17
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Leon Sturm opened to 80,000 from the hijack and Sam Grafton defended from the big blind.
The flop came A♦K♦6♠. Grafton checked, Sturm bet 40,000 and Grafton put in a small check-raise to 95,000. Sturm made the call.
Grafton checked the 8♣ turn and Sturm bet 80,000. Grafton check-raised Sturm for the second street in a row, raising it to 210,000. This time Sturm moved all in for 335,000 and Grafton quickly made the call with a covering stack.
Leon Sturm: A♣A♥
Sam Grafton: K♣6♣
Both players had caught a big piece of the flop but Sturm had Grafton's two pair drawing dead against his top set. The 7♥ river changed nothing and Sturm collected a full double up at Grafton's expense.
