The 6♣ turn fell and Mulder downsized his bet to 280,000. Grafton again made the call before the J♦ river completed the board. Mulder slowed down with a check and Grafton followed suit after taking some time to think things over.
Mulder confidently tabled A♦Q♥ for two pair and Grafton nodded in acknowledgment that he had indeed the best hand. Grafton's stack dwindled to less than fifteen big blinds while Mulder increased his stack to over two million chips.
