The subsequent 3♥ turn was checked through before Mulder led out 200,000 on the 5♠ river. Pardo called without much delay and Mulder could only table 8♥6♥ for a bluff with eight-high. Pardo did not play a pair either, but his A♠J♠ still won him the pot as he made the correct call with ace-high.
