The button flat-called and Mauricio Salazar Sanchez put his fresh stack to work by reraising to 6,200 in the small blind. Hong called and the button got out of the way.
The flop came Q♠5♥3♥ and Salazar Sanchez continued with a bet of 2,500. Hong shoved all in for just over 7,000 and Salazar Sanchez snapped him off. Hong tabled K♣10♣ and Salazar Sanchez held A♥J♥. The runout of 5♣, 7♠ changed nothing and Salazar Sanchez's ace-high was good enough to eliminate Hong.
