Zouari Doubles Up
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
19,000 chips went in before the turn in a pot between Massou Cohen in the big blind and Jeremie Zouari in middle position. The board read 2♣J♣7♠K♣ and Cohen checked to Zouari, who put in a measly 2,500 chips. Cohen quickly called and the 4♠ river was dealt.
Cohen checked again and Zouari went all in for his remaining 10,000. Again, Cohen snap called but mucked his hand when Zouari tabled A♣A♠ for the best starting hand in hold 'em. It remained the best hand in this case, as Cohen added his cards to the muck.
