Petrangelo and Kamphues Chop a Four-Way Affair

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Timo Kamphues, Nick Petrangelo, Tom-Aksel Bedell, and Dario Sammartino all put in some of their chips preflop to create a pot of 50,000. The flop was 7109 and all four players checked their option.

On the 3 turn, Bedell led for 21,000 chips and now all three remaining players decided to call. The Q river apparently scared them, however, as each one knuckled the table to signify a check.

All eight cards were shown down. Bedell could only show ace-high with his missed flush draw of A2.

"Nine?" Sammartino carefully asked, before tabling his K9. Kamphues had that beat, however, and showed QJ for a pair of queens. Petrangelo had the same holding with his QJ.

"I'll take it," said Kamphues and the two players chopped the pot while Bedell was lamenting his missed flush draw in this rare multiway situation.

Hirs Scores Full Double Up With Rockets

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a heads-up pot with close to 80,000 in the middle on a completed board showing A73Q4, Roman Samoylov bet out 55,000 from the big blind and Aliaksandr Hirs moved all in for 97,000 total on the button.

Samoylov went deep in the tank, but after close to a minute of thought, made the call and the cards were shown. Hirs confidently tabled AA for top set and Samoylov rolled over 74 for two pair to double up Hirs.

Chop It Up

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress raised to 12,000 and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind.

The flop was 467 and both players checked through to see 3 on the turn.

Mateos bet 7,000 on the turn and Dvoress called.

The river was 5 to make a straight on the board and Mateos bet 63,000. Dvoress called with reluctance but Mateos showed Q9 and he did not have the higher straight. Dvoress showed AQ and accepted the unlucky split pot.
