With 53 players out of 107 entries remaining, Level 12 has come to an end. Tournament staff announced an extended 30-minute break during which the T-500 chips are raced off. Furthermore, the Mystery Bounty prizes are now prepared as well as they come into play when the action resumes.
Towards the end of the level, a rather innocent heads-up pot until the 
turn then saw the chips go in between Mehdi Chaoui and Tom Vogelsang. It was the former at risk for 165,000 but he had already locked up the double as the following cards were exposed.

river was meaningless as the set of the young Moroccan had one hundred percent equity.
Erik Seidel raised from under the gun and Stefan Schillhabel then pushed all-in with the last 103,000 on the button. Jamil Wakil in the small blind asked for an exact count and also inquired to see the chips of Seidel before folding.
Jakob Miegel in the big blind moved all-in over the top and Seidel folded.

It was a classic flip between the two Germans and Schillhabel came out on top of it. The 
runout provided the necessary help right away as Miegel's stack was dented.
Jakov Nesterov raised to 12,000 from an early position and was called by Andre Marques out of the big blind. On a 
flop, Marques check-called a min-bet of 6,000 and the 
turn was checked by both. Marques then led the river for 11,000 and tank-folded after Nesterov raised it up to 45,000.
Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading 
, Rui Neves Ferreira and Bruno Volkmann were heads-up in the blinds. Ferreira checked to Volkmann who bet 15,000 on the turn and Ferreira check-raised to 35,000 which Volkmann called.
The river was the 
and Ferreira jammed all in, putting Volkmann to the test for his remaining stack of 48,000. Volkmann dipped into the tank, using a couple of his time banks before eventually making the call. Ferreira showed 
for nothing while Volkmann tabled his to collect a double-up.
Jamil Wakil raised to 10,000 on the button and Erik Seidel defended from the big blind. The flop came 
and Seidel check-called a bet of 6,000 from Wakil.
The on the turn slowed the action as both players checked to the 
on the river. Seidel led out with a bet of 8,000 and Wakil looked him up. The Canadian showed for a rivered pair of jacks to scoop the pot and add more chips to his stack.
The field has been cut down to nearly half as several players bowed out once the late registration period has closed. Among them were also Andre Akkari and Ethan Yau, who won't have a shot at the Mystery Bounty prizes that come into play at the start of level 13.

Kannapong Thanarattrakul check-called a bet by Pedro Garagani on the 
flop for 21,000 in a three-bet pot and that led them to the on the turn. Another check by Thanarattrakul then prompted the shove by Garagnani for 95,500 and that won the pot uncontested.
