Andersson's River Shove Eliminates Hand

Sven Andersson starts the action by opening to 3,500 in the cutoff. His only caller is Fintan Hand in the big blind.

The Irishman checked the 2♥9♦5♠ flop and faced a bet of 6,000 from Andersson. Hand then raised to 13,000 and was called.

Both players checked the 10♣ turn.

It didn't take Andersson long to shove, though, as the 2♣ landed on the river. Hand was covered and had just 22,000 behind, but made the call.
