Vasylchenko Takes Chip Lead with Trips
Niveau 22
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Elias Gutierrez limped in from the small blind and Oleg Vasylchenko checks it in the big blind.
The flop came 2♥2♦4♣, and Gutierrez made it 60,000. Vasylchenko raised to 180,000 and got the call ahead of the turn.
It came the 3♥, with this time Gutierrez slowing down and checking. Vasylchenko bet out 350,000 before Gutierrez called.
A J♣ on the river proved to be significant. Gutierrez again checked it over to the Ukrainian. He thought for a while before firing off a bet of 700,000. Gutierrez called with K♥J♥, but his two pair wasn't enough to beat Vasylchenko, who tabled 10♠2♠ having flopped trips.
