Newey had remained around the starting stack through the first two and a half levels, while Silva had seen his stack diminish before regaining most of his lost chips.
With 57,500 in the pot on the 5♦A♦10♦2♥3♥ board, Newey, with 64,500 behind checked. Silva bet 55,000 and sent Newey into the blender. The latter ended up calling after using up a time bank card.
Silva tabled K♦4♣ for a wheel while Newey flashed his A♠J♠ before it went into the muck.
