Grieco Rivers Two Pair for the Loss
Niveau 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
An all-in triangle was put in front of Nicola Grieco's stack of 15,500 on a board of 3♣5♦7♣8♥. His opponent was Axel Hallay, and went deep into the tank.
After a few minutes and some sighs, Hallay put in the call to try and win Grieco's stack in addition to the 25,000 chips that were already in the middle.
Nicola Grieco: 6♥5♥
Axel Hallay: J♣10♣
Grieco had the best hand with a pair of fives, but the 6♣ river gave Hallay a flush. Grieco sat in his chair momentarily before getting up while Hallay stacked up his chips.
