The action checked to Van de Ree, who bet out 1,000 on the K♠J♠7♦ flop. Only Patrick Berger, on the button, and Yevgeneiy Golenko, in the small blind, made the call.

The 7♣ turn saw both Golenko and Van de Ree check. Berger bet 4,500, Golenko folded and Van de Ree moved all in for 11,900, Berger chose to fold.

A modest pot of 4,500 chips was in the middle of the table, along with a flop of 2♣Q♥7♣. Avihai Smadga had put 2,500 chips more in the pot from the cutoff before Tommi Lankinen raised all-in to 11,600.

Andraz Gognjavec then three-bet to 23,400, his entire stack. Smadga asked for a count but elected to fold his hand once he received it, leaving the other two players to battle it out.

Vranken Ships Massively

Antoine Vranken opened the action with a raise to 1,000 from under the gun before seeing a three-bet from his neighbor Silvio Giuliano, to 3,700.

Vranken made the call once the action folded back to him, and the pair went off to a flop of 6♠6♣10♦. Vranken check-called the 3,500 bet of Giuliano, after which both players checked the K♦ turn.

The 5♥ river saw Vranken announce his all-in for 31,500 chips, around twice the size of the pot. Giuliano pondered only for a few moments before letting his cards go, chipping Vranken up.
