Paulius Plausinaitis opened to 5,500 from the button before Tsugunari Toma three-bet to 17,500 from the small blind. Plausinaitis called.
Toma continued for 14,000 on the Q♥8♦7♠ flop and was called. He then sized up to 165,000 on the 6♠ turn which was what Plausinaitis had in his stack. The latter quickly folded and the next hand began.
The field once again combined to one table after the elimination of Robbie Toan.
Niklas Astedt then raised to 5,000 on the button and Paulius Plausinaitis and Tamas Adamszki called in the blinds.
All three players checked the A♠4♣10♥ flop before Plausinaitis bet 16,000 on the Q♣ turn. Only Astedt called.
The river was the Q♦ and Plausinaitis bet 70,000. Astedt quickly folded this time.
Robbie Toan had just lost a big pot to Niklas Astedt and was down to 38,000 when he moved all in from the small blind. Tsugunari Toma called under the gun.

The flop came K♦4♣4♠, while the A♥ turn gave Toma two pair and left Toan already drawing dead heading to the J♥ river and on his way to the exit.
Ole Schemion limped in from the small blind and called when Teun Mulder raised to 9,000 from the big blind.
The J♥9♣8♠ flop checked through to the 4♥ turn. Schemion check-called for 16,000, leaving him with 57,000 behind.
The 3♥ river completed the board and Schemion checked for a third time. Mulder put Schemion all-in for his tournament life but the latter quickly folded, without using a time bank card.
Shortly after doubling up Tamas Adamszki, Bruno Volkmann moved all in for 27,000 from the cutoff, Tsugunari Toma reshoved in the small blind, and Niklas Astedt gave up his big blind.

The board ran out Q♥10♥9♣7♠Q♦ and Toma's fours stayed in the lead to send Volkmann to an early exit.
"That was fast," Volkmann said.
Action folded to table newcomer Bruno Volkmann who raised to 8,000 in the small blind. Tamas Adamszki then moved all in for 62,000 in the big blind and Volkmann called.

Adamszki was behind heading to the flop, which came K♣5♥2♣ to give him a set. The board ran out J♣9♣ and he doubled up yet again.
"Welcome," Niklas Astedt said to Volkmann.
"The same thing just happened to me in the 1K," Volkmann replied.
Tamas Adamszki was all in for 27,000 from the cutoff and was at risk to Niklas Astedt, who had called from the small blind.
Adamszki tabled his Q♥Q♦ and was up against 10♦10♣. The 5♠4♥2♥J♣K♠ runout was drama free and yesterday's €10K champ doubled up.
Heads-up on a flop of 4♥6♣6♦, Tsugunari Toma bet 15,000 from the small blind, Robbie Toan raised to 35,000 under the gun, and Toma reraised to 56,000.
Toan called and they both checked the A♣ turn. The river was the 3♠ and Toma bet 30,000. Toan tanked for a minute before calling as Toma showed K♦K♥.
"You would've got it all. I had sevens," Toan said as he mucked.
"No fear," tablemate Niklas Astedt said.
