Oikonomidis Cracks Aces in Blind Versus Blind Battle
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
With about 4,000 in the middle the turn read J♣8♥6♠6♦ and Fabian Rolli led for 4,500 in the small blind. Ioannis Oikonomidis who was his only opponent in the big blind made the call.
The K♥ fell on the river, and Rolli bet 1,500. Oikonomidis tanked about a minute before raising to 14,500. Rolli snap-called to see the bad news as Oikonomidis showed 6♥3♦ for trip sixes.
"Just so easy," said Rolli as he flashed his A♥A♠.
