Duenas Spikes a Pair on the River
Niveau 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Juan Duenas raised to 2,500 from under the gun. Youngshin Im called in the cutoff.
Duenas continued for 2,500 on the 7♦4♣7♥ flop. Im raised to 6,200 and Duenas called.
The Q♣ turn checked to the 8♥ on the river. Both players checked to a showdown. Duenas tabled A♣8♣ for a rivered pair of eights; Im smirked as she rechecked her cards before sliding them face down into the muck.
