The €1.5M Man: Neugebauer in the Mix

Calum Grant

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Anton Morgenstern opened to 1,600 from under the gun and was called by Max Neugebauer from the cutoff.

Action checked all the way through to showdown, and Neugebauer's 8♣8♥ was best on the Q♦9♠4♠J♦3♥ board.

Neugebauer announced himself to the wider poker world last month, winning the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event for a staggering €1,500,000.

Also at the table is PokerStars' Alejandro Lococo, who has just over three starting stacks.
