O'Dwyer Blasts River
Niveau 18
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jiri Kocab opened from middle position to 17,000 and was called by Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind.
The flop came K♠4♦5♦ and O'Dwyer checked it to Kocab. The Czech made it 14,000 and was again called.
A K♥ on the turn saw both players check.
But it was O'Dwyer who took the initiative on the river, betting 117,000 into a 74,000 pot as a 9♦ landed. Kocab swiftly folded, awarding a sizeable pot to the Irishman.
