Wagner Picks Off Meli

David Salituro

Niveau 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Adam Wagner three-bet to 80,000 on the button and Ramon Colillas called in the big blind, as did Vincent Meli under the gun.

The flop came J♥6♣3♦ and Wagner bet 125,000. Colillas folded, but Meli stuck around to see the 9♦ turn.

Both players checked and the 9♣ fell on the river. Meli then bet 80,000 and Wagner called.

Meli showed 8♥6♥ for two pair, but Wagner had 8♠8♦ for a higher two pair to take the pot.
