Rodin Barrels Three-Streets with Air
Niveau 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Umberto Ruggeri opened from the cutoff to 100,000 with 8♠8♦ and called when Grigorii Rodin three-bet to 275,000 from the button with 10♣7♣.
Ruggeri made a set on the A♦8♥2♠ flop and check-called for 150,00. The 6♠ turn gave Rodin a gutshot and fired out another 325,000 after Ruggeri checked. The latter just called again.
The 4♦ completed the board, and Ruggeri continued to slow play his set and checked. Rodin moved all in for Ruggeri's last 1,110,000 and the Italian snap-called for a double up.
