Gonzalez Doubles With Queen-High
Niveau 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Borja Gonzalez limped first-to-act and just behind him, Jason Rocha raised to 3,200. Action folded back around to Gonzalez, who called.
Gonzalez checked to Rocha, who continued for 2,500 on the 9♦J♣2♣ flop. Gonzalez then check-raised to 7,800 and Rocha went all in, which was enough to put Gonzalez all in for 12,300 total. Gonzalez called and a showdown held.
Borja Gonzalez: Q♣10♣
Jason Rocha: 7♣5♣
Gonzalez held the best of it with his dominating draw, and the 9♥3♥ runout kept Gonzalez best with his queen-high for the double up.
