Bull Eliminates Canaparo after 10-Minute Tank in Massive Four-Bet Pot
Ivan Kuziv opened 10,000 under the gun before Fernando Canaparo three-bet 35,000 in the hijack. Robert Bull put in a four-bet to 85,000 from the big blind, forcing Kuziv to muck while Canaparo made the call.
The dealer spread a flop of 10♦7♦6♠, and after thinking for about 45 seconds, Bull dropped 45,000 across the line. Canaparo tank-called.
When the K♠ hit the turn, Bull took about a minute and announced a bet of 70,000. Canaparo stuck around once again with a call.
The 4♠ competed the board on the river, and Bull announced all-in.
Canaparo went deep into the tank, asking for a count. The dealer let him know it was 148,000, covering his 128,000. After a full ten minutes, well into the break, he smashed a chip across the line to make the call.
Bull rolled A♣A♦, and Canaparo sighed as he stood up from the table as his Q♣Q♦ was turned face-up.
