Moya Doubles Through Lyall
Niveau 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Franco De Mendonca opened to 6,000 from middle position and was called by Juan Moya in the hijack before Dean Lyall three-bet to 15,000 from the button. De Mendonca got out of the way while Moya made the call, leaving just 22,000 behind.
The flop came Q♥J♥2♠. Moya shoved and Lyall called with a covering stack to put him at risk.
Juan Moya: Q♦9♦
Dean Lyall: 8♦8♣
Moya was in great shape with top pair while Lyall was drawing to just two outs. No eights materialized when the rest of the board ran out K♠K♣ and Moya scored a full double up through Lyall.
