Valls Scores a Knockout Against Garcia
Niveau 16
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Carlos Garcia open-jammed for around 75,000 from under the gun. In middle position, Carles Valls opted to rejam as the covering stack while all subsequent action folded around.
Carlos Garcia: 8♠8♣
Carles Valls: Q♦Q♣
Valls had Garcia in rough shape and it stayed that way on the K♥J♦10♦ flop. Nothing changed as the board ran out J♠5♠ and Valls collected the remainder of Garcia's stack as he found a premium hand at the perfect time.
