Gotuzzo Finds Great Call to Bust Farkas
Niveau 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Peter Farkas opened to 60,000 from middle position and then called when Hugo Gotuzzo three-bet to 225,000 from the cutoff.
On the 10♣9♥4♦ flop, Farkas checked to Gotuzzo who continued for 150,000. Instantly, Farkas responded with an all-in raise for exactly 750,000, which sent Gotuzzo deep into the tank.
After over four minutes of thinking, Gotuzzo made the call to put Farkas at risk.
Peter Farkas: Q♣J♣
Hugo Gotuzzo: A♣Q♦
Gotuzzo found the correct call with just ace-queen-high against the open-ender of Farkas. The board ran out 4♥7♦ and Farkas did not make his straight as he hit the rail.
