Drommel Straightens Mavritsakis Out
Niveau 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Panagiotis Mavritsakis shoved for his last 970,000 from early position and it was folded to Daniel Drommel in the cutoff, who also went all in for more. Everyone else folded and a showdown was held.
Panagiotis Mavritsakis: 3♥3♦
Daniel Drommel: A♠10♠
It was a virtual coin flip, but the 5♦Q♣J♣K♠9♥ improved Drommel to Broadway on the turn — eliminating Mavritsakis about half way through Day 3.
