Jacks Hold for Jimenez to Double Near Bubble

Niveau 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Pablo Jimenez
Pablo Jimenez

Beltran Garcia opened 124,000 in early position, leaving just 20,000 behind, and Pablo Jimenez called off his 98,000 next to act. The action folded to David Santana who went into the tank for several minutes. Eventually, the clock was called and he was given 30 seconds to act. After a few more seconds, he tossed his cards into the muck.

Pablo Jimenez: JJ All in
Beltran Garcia: 1010

Jimenez was in great shape and the Q7352 runout missed both players for his pocket jacks to hold.

Rezaei Sends Lin Reeling

Niveau 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei opened to 12,000 from middle position and Ren Lin called from the hijack for a heads-up pot.

Rezaei check-called an 18,000 bet from Lin on the 1074 flop and a 35,000 bet from Lin on the 10 turn.

The 7 double-paired the board on the river and Rezaei checked a final time — prompting a final barrel of 105,000 from Lin.

Rezaei announced he was all in and Lin shouted, "Aye aye! I play the board!" before letting his hand go and leaving himself with just 30,000 in chips.

"You gamble too much," Rezaei said as he revealed 10x8x for a full house.

Brecard Takes it at Showdown

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Julien Brecard
Julien Brecard

Julien Brecard opened 11,000 in middle position and only Kristian Larsson came along from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of K85, and both players tapped the tabe to see the K pair the board on the turn. Larsson led for 9,000, and Brecard quickly called.

When the A hit the river, both players checked once again. Larsson rolled 77 before seeing the bad news as Brecard tabled JJ.
