Dario Talio checked in the small blind and Jordan Santos bet 2,600 into a pot of around 5,300 from early position. Haraldur Petursson moved all in for around 12,000 from middle position, which prompted Talio to rejam for around 25,000. Santos agonized over his options before finding a fold.

With roughly 3,800 in the middle the board read Q♦2♥7♣. Alessandro Adinolfo bet 2,500 from middle position and Vincenzo Scarpitti called from the blinds.

The action checked though on the Q♣ turn for the J♣ to come on the river. Scarpitti led out for 5,000 and Adinolfo showed KxKx as he folded. Scarpitti was kind enough to flip over the Q♠ for trip queens as he dragged in the pot.

Julien Sitbon opened to 500 from under the gun and was called by 2024 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event third-place finisher Rania Nasreddine from the hijack. Kian Kiani and Rasmus Riberholdt-Nielsen also came along from the button and big blind.

Sitbon continued for 500 on the Q♠9♠9♦ flop, and Nasreddine was the only caller.

The 2♣ turn checked through to the A♦ river, and Sitbon slit out another 700. Nasreddine made it 2,000, putting the action back on Sitbon. The Frenchman shrugged his shoulders, and he flicked in a calling chip.

Nasreddine tabled A♣Q♦ for aces and queens, and Sitbon mucked his hand.
