Brutal River Sees Araujo Double Through Bianchetti
Niveau 23
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
With two players seeing a board of 8♣2♦7♥K♣2♣ and a sizable pot of around 725,000 already in the middle, Yves Bianchetti shoved from under the gun, covering Rodrigo Araujo who was seated directly to his left with 440,000 behind. Araujo snap-called.
Bianchetti had rivered the nut-flush with A♣3♣, but Araujo had flopped a set with 8♦8♠ and filled up on the river to score a massive double-up through Bianchetti.
