Barbero Bites the Dust
Niveau 6
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
With approximately 170,000 in the middle and the board reading 9♦A♠2♠7♥, the action was caught as Nacho Barbero, in middle position, was all in and at risk for his effective stack of approximately 110,000 against Jean-Noel Thorel in the hijack.
Nacho Barbero: A♥K♣
Jean-Noel Thorel: 9♥9♠
The 10♦ river changed nothing and Barbero was sent to the rail by Thorel's set of nines.
