Mokri Bombs the River
Niveau 21
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Seth Davies raised to 225,000 with just the 10♥ showing on the feature table. Kayhan Mokri called in the small blind holding 4♥4♣, as did Sean Winter, in the big blind, with Q♦6♦.
All three players checked the A♠2♥9♥ flop through to the J♥ on the turn. Mokri took the lead for a sizeable bet of 475,000 and only Davies called.
The K♠ river saw Mokri bomb the river with a bet of 1,975,000, leaving himself 950,000 behind the line. Davies tossed his cards into the muck.
