Mulder Sets Up Ruijs

Brett Slezak

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Joris Ruijs opened to 5,000 from under the gun and received calls from Teun Mulder and Samuel Ju in the hijack and cutoff, respectively.

On the 9♦7♠5♥ flop, Ruijs checked to Mulder who bet 5,000. Ju quickly folded while Ruijs stuck around to see the turn.

The 6♠ peeled off next and Ruijs check-called another bet, this time for 10,000.

The river brought the A♠. Ruijs checked for a third time and Mulder took some time before he announced, "Very tight check."

Joris Ruijs: K♦K♣
Teun Mulder: 7♦7♣

Mulder flopped a set of sevens but checked back the river as some draws had completed.
