Kolev Hero-Calls Correctly
Niveau 9
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Boris Kolev opened to 6,000 from under the gun and received calls from Kyosuke Nagami in the small blind and Jelle Moene in the big blind.
On the 7♠7♣5♠ flop, Moene led for 3,000 from the big blind, Kolev raised to 9,000, Nagami called, and Moene folded.
The Q♥ turn checked through to the 8♥ river in which Nagami bet enough to put Kolev all in for 47,000 effective. Kolev immediately tossed out a time bank and he ended up using two banks before he called off for his tournament life.
Boris Kolev: K♠K♣
Kyosuke Nagami: J♠9♠
Kolev held an overpair while Nagami was bluffing with a missed flush draw as Kolev called off correctly for the full double.
