Mustafov Reduces the Field by One
Niveau 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Fahredin Mustafov opened to 3,000 from the hijack and Henri Lauret called from the cutoff before Piero Alioto shoved from the button for around 40,000. Mustafov called with a covering stack while Lauret got out of the way.
Piero Alioto: 10♦10♠
Fahredin Mustafov: A♣Q♥
The A♦K♥K♣ flop gave Mustafov aces-up leaving Alioto drawing to just two outs. He failed to improve when the rest of the board ran out 2♠3♥ and was sent to the rail while Mustafov added more chips to his stack.
