Czuczor Busts a Pair
Niveau 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
In a three-way pot on the river with the big blind, Maksim Shornikau, already all in with a nub and a side pot of about 40,000 between Ami Barer under the gun and Marton Czuczor on the button, the board read J♦8♣5♦K♣10♥.
After Barer checked, Czuzcor moved all in, covering Barer's remaining 30,000 chips. Barer thought for a couple of minutes and then called.
Czuczor showed 5♠5♣ for a flopped set of fives, which sent Shornikau's queen-high quickly to the muck as he left, with Barer following right after with Q♥J♠ for a losing pair of jacks. Czuczor scooped both pots.
