Kusumoto Felts Ievchenko
Niveau 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Cards were on their backs with the board reading 7♥5♣4♥ with Oleksii Ievchenko at risk from the button versus Ryoki Kusumoto in early position.
Oleksii Ievchenko: A♠J♠
Ryoji Kusumoto: 8♥4♦
Ievchenko would need to improve his ace-high to survive, and did so on the A♥ turn. The card gave Kusumoto an added flush draw to go with his pair and straight draw though.
The river brought the 8♣, giving Kusumoto a winning two pair of eights and fours to snatch back the pot as he threatens to end the night among the chip leaders.
